American Spotted Drafts can be a mixture of the following breeds (according to the registry's guidelines): American Cream Drafts, Belgians, Clydesdales, Percherons, Shires, and
Suffolks, American Paint Horse, Pinto Horse (stock, pleasure, or hunter type only-no ponies or saddle type gaited horses), American Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, Morgans,
Arabians/Pintabians, Gypsy Vanner Horses (no ponies/must be 15 hands and over), Friesians, and Warmbloods. No pony/appaloosa/donkey blood allowed. All mature horses must be
over 15 hands.
